በቅዳሜው የጤና ውይይት መድረካችን እደተለመድው ከየካ ጤና ጣቢያ ባለሙያዎች እንዲሁም ዶር ፊፊ በተገኙበት የካንሰር ታካሚዎች እራሳቸውን እንዴት ከተጓዳኝ በሽታዎች መከላከል እንዳለባቸው ግንዛቤ ስጥተውናል።
1.በፒንክሀውስ ታካሚዎች ከተዛማች ተላላፊ በሽታዎች እንደ (Acute Diarrhea) ከንፅህና ጉድለት ከሚመጡ በሽታዎች እራሳቸውን መከላከል እንዳለባቸው፣ የበሰለ ምግብ መመገብ እንዳለባቸው፣ በትንሹ እጃቸውን ከ12-20 ሴኮንዶች መታጠብ፣ እንድ ማስታወክ ተቅማጥ አይነት ምልክቶችን ካስተዋሉ ቶሎ ወደ ጤና ተቋም መሄድ እንዳለባቸው ግንዛቤ አግኝተዋል።
2. በትንፋሽ ከሚተላለፉ በሽታዎች (flu virus) ማሳል አይነት በሽታዎች አንዱ ወደ ሌላው እንዳያስተላልፍ እና በተጓዳኝ በሽታዎች በሽታ የመከላከል አቅማቸው እንዳይዳከም ግንዛቤ አግኝተዋል።

In our health discussion forum on Saturday, the experts from Yeka Health Center and Dr. Fifi gave us an understanding of how cancer patients should protect themselves from related diseases and other co-infections.
1. At the Pinkhouse, patients have gained the understanding that they should protect themselves from communicable diseases such as (Acute Diarrhea disease) caused by bacteria from poor hygiene and ingesting contaminated uncooked foods. Patients should protect themselves by eating cooked food, wash their hands for at least 12-20 seconds; If they notice symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea, they should go to a health facility as soon as possible.
2. They have also gained an understanding to prevent the transmission of respiratory diseases (flu virus) from one to another and to prevent their immune system from being weakened by related diseases.
